Can someone tell me how the hand pump prime sink works? I have pumped and pumped that thing and can't get it to pump water.

I know this may sound silly, but have you filled the plastic water storage bag? I

If you have, there may be some blockage in the tubing from the bag to the pump or the one-way valve in the pump may need to be serviced.

    Good luck,

    Default Sink Fauset

Original hand lever sink fauset pump on my '99 Jubilee stopped working do to age. Replacing it cost to much. Installed new sink fauset, 12 volt motor with on and off switch. The bag under sink was replaced with 5 gallion plastic bucket having a top. Works great!! No more little squirts coming out.

    Default Hand Pump Sink

So tell me how the hand prime sink works. I have the same one that you replaced. Do you pull the lever all the way out and pump it to prime and push back in to hold prime once water comes out? When you replaced it with the one you showded me, what about the hole left in the boat? Was it the same size hole?

    Default Hand sink pump

The hand sink pump has a one way valve on the bottom end of hose. Lifting it up and down would fill hose from the water bag priming the pump. The new 12 volt pump I installed needed a 1/8 piece of plastic under edge of sink pump with a 1 inch hole put in the middle so hose could be attached. After taking off original pump hole left was 1/4 inch bigger and new plastic covered it. Hope this helps!
