Default fuel capacity

hello! i am a new subscriber and a proud owner of a 2000 shabah Z250 limited edition. i just purchased the boat two weeks ago and what a beauty she is. i have two questions. 1) my depth finder always shows .5 ft. how do you reset it or get it to working properly. 2) I cant find in the manual anywhere on how much fuel capacity it holds. the needle showed empty but when i filled up it was only 39 gallons and the previous owner thought it held 60 gal. just need to know so i don't press my luck and get stranded.

Welcome to the board! I also have a 2000 Z250 Limited Edition, so if you've got any questions, I've got your answers!!

Your depth finder has most likely come loose from it's mounting point under the engine. It was originally epoxied in on a special mount made inside the bilge. I know this because mine did the same thing. You can see if you look underneath the engine, it looks like a hockey puck directly under the engine. I have sanded the excess epoxy off the transducer and the mount, and plan to remount it, but access to the mounting point is very tough, and the boat needs to be in the water to properly test it, and my boat stays on the trailer when it's not in the water. Hopefully I'll have some time before the season's up to get it fixed. Right now it's just sitting on the mount, and works occasionally.

The fuel tank capacity is 56 gallons.

    Hope this helps!

I also have a Z250 Limited and to add a couple of things...1. My transducer is located in the same place and when reinstalling it add mineral oil to fill the gap between the transducer and the hull. This will eliminate any air gap that can cause errors. 2. When fueling with the bow up you will only be able to add 40 gallons. It helps to drop the bow if you need to top the tank off. Congradulations it is a fun boat
