Default any info on 1994 shabah 202 bowrider??

my family are really into boating....we were looking into getting another boat to add to the collection. I went to a dealership and saw a 1994 shabah 202 and it seemed like in pretty good condition. I just didnt know much about the Mariah brand.....it also appears that not very many people know to much about the 1994 shabah 202 bowrider?

any info about the model, will be appreciated thanks!

Hello sbishop, welcome to the club!

Dollar for dollar, Mariahs were built and outfitted better than any other competitor.

Click this link and it will take you to the club's main page and here you can read what Mariahs and this club are all about.

Just for starters, your 94 Shabah is 19' 10" long and 92" wide. She weighs is around 2550Lbs and has a 40gal tank. Power came from a 3.0L I4 all the way to a 5.7L v8.

She was also available in a "Z" model featuring additional features like hull docking lights, an electric adjustable driver's seat and a driver's side windshield defroster.

Almost all hardware was Stainless Steel rather than zinc plated steel and she carried one of the best warranties in the industry. Lifetime on the hull and wood componets.

As a contributing member, you would have access to a growing library of manuals, brochures, wiring diagrams, and all sorts of information relevant to any Mariah you'd be insterested in, as well as the stern drives and equipment. All of these are available here, Click here to see what each level has to offer.

    Hope this helped,
    WetWilly

Welcome to the board sbishop... Are you in Cincinnati? I noticed your "in the nati" location. If so, let me know the dealership, I'd be willing to go check the boat out for you and give you a full report!

Mariah really never had any problems with their boats ever, they were one of the only boat manufacturers at the time to offer a lifetime hull warranty. That's a heck of a statement of quality. One of our members on the site was the service warranty manager at Mariah during the 90's, I'm sure he could vouch for the quality, and from what I heard, only about 10 boats ever were returned to the factory for warranty repair. Now as far as engines go, Mercruiser makes some of the most reliable powerplants, and has been the choice for boat manufacturers for ages. Service wise, you can have any engine issues repaired at any Mercruiser repair shop.

Hope this helps, and let me know if I can help you out in any way!

i would really appreciate if you would check the boat out for me....i really don't know much and was looking for an expert opinion. If you were willing to check the boat out and give me a full report.....the name of the dealership is Captain's Cove Marine. down by the river, and lunken airport.

    Thank you Shabah!
