Default Mark 8 Display

Hi everyone,

I have a 1995 Shabah Z212 equipped with the Mark VIII Display and I need to replace the sealed control box that the screen plugs into. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction or possibly know of someone that has one they could sell me. Thanks for any assistance!

Welcome! I don't have any experience with that unit, but the user guide is attached. There are only a few of us that regularly visit this site now unfortunately. Join the Mariah Owners Club facebook site for much faster replies. There are a couple of other Mariah groups too, but they are not quite as active. Post your question there and you should get some responses.

    Good Luck!

You’re going to be looking for a needle in a haystack for one of those digital info centers. They only put those in some of the Z package boats in 95 and 96 so it’s going to be tough. I have never seen one come up for sale from a boat being parted out yet either. Greg I am going to steal that pdf and add it to my Mariah folder. I’m not sure where you got that unless it was always on here and I missed it!

Hey Dan, I did pull it off this forum so you must have overlooked it. However, I could never attach the document for some reason in the forum replies so I re-scanned it. I try to pull everything I need off here because you never know when this site will just disappear.

Gotcha, I’m surprised I missed it! I saved I would say 95% of the PDFs on here to my google drive just incase this site vanished. Glad I did because my membership renewed automatically over 2 months ago and no one has approved it still so I can’t view anything on here anymore. I put in a dispute to PayPal because it is BS that someone’s collecting the money and not doing anything here for us. I also have scanned and made PDFs of several other manuals I’ve collected over the years Mariah related that weren’t on here so I’ve got a pretty good library now. I also have hard copies of every brochure 91-01 except 1990 I’m still on the hunt for if you see any around lol
    mikeyt and GregT like this.

Thanks for the replies Dan and Greg! I understand it is going to be next to impossible to find but just thought I would throw it out there. I actually don’t need the screen, rather it’s the sealed control box with a circuit board inside I need. The screen plugs into the connector that exits the box. I hope I have explained it well enough so it’s understandable Anyways, thanks again guys! I hope someday to find it as everything else is complete on the boat and I have all the manuals from original and the brochure etc and the pouch that all the books and stuff that it came with from new…..It’s a shame that this display unit isn’t working ….would be neat if it did because they are so rare to find.
