Default Lost Keys

Hello all, happy to be part of this group. I own a 2000 Mariah 202 Shabah. I recently lost the Keys and would like to know if replacement key is available or my options? I called a number for key replacements from this forum and unfortunately the line was disconnected.

I believe you need to know the code letter that was on your original set. Probably easier to simply buy and install a new ignition switch with keys included. You could also check the Marketplace to see if anyone who is parting out their boat still has the ignition and matching Mariah key available.

I ended up having to replace my ignition switch. Luckily it's very straightforward and you can use any compatible switch from your local autoparts store. Look at the back of your current ignition switch prior to buying one so that you get one with the same amount of connectors.

Before buying one, I was able to jam a very small flathead screw driver into the key hole and mash up the tumblers, eventually managing to get it turned over without a key. This was just to see if the old girl ran before spending anything on her. I knowingly completely ruined the original switch!
