So I have a 1994 200 Talari. Just trying to gain some basic performance knowledge. It has the the 5.7L Alpha One. @WOT I'm hitting about 4200-4300 rpm with it trimmed out to the top speed I can get it to @ 48 mph. That was with about a half tank of fuel and only me in the boat. I'm not sure what prop details are with the current prop I have on it. So my first question is, do these numbers sound about right? I would think that with having the 5.7 my top speed would be around 55 mph. I know that prop diameter/pitch/cup all have an affect on top speed as well as rpm, so I know I'm shooting in the dark with not having the prop info on hand at the moment. But it seems I would be able to get some more rpm's out it and a few more mph as is.

Recommended WOT RPM Ranges for Mercruiser Sterndrives: 5.7 L (A1) 250hp 4400-4800 rpm at WOT 1.62 gear ratio

You have the right pitch prop at 19 so either your gear ratio is different or more likely your prop has been "repaired" at some point and is no longer a 19" pitch
