We have just got the above boat which runs beautifully with her 4.3l mercruiser.

I have a couple of issues I want to resolve:

The tacho is not working, is this likely to be the gauge or a connection somewhere?

The fuel gauge is not working, is this likely to be the gauge or sender? How might I test?

Is there an easy way to remove gauges from dash, it is really tight to get in behind them?

Unfortunately there is not. I have a 95 Barchetta and replaced all the old gauges with new Faria gauges. Coming from the starboard headrest the middle gauges went in pretty easily. The outer gauges were a bear. I bought a cheap set of open end wrenches and cut them in half. I was able to get to each side and install all the gauges. It still was tedious but it worked.
