Hello everyone!

I am new to boating and just recently replaced the power steering hoses but now there is a leak in the front near the reservoir. Should I replace the entire power steering unit or just continue to pinpoint the areas affected and replace each one as they come up? It's a 94 Davanti 225, if that helps. Inboard motor/prop

Hello !
So, you have a NEW leak after replacing the hoses? If so, sounds like you need to redo your connections. Maybe you don't have the new hose tight enough? Or. is that even where the leak seems to be coming from? The res tank is part of the pump? Or is the res a seperate tank, away from the pump? What I;m actually getting at is, is the leak actually the power steering res or is it possibly the lower unit oil tank.
