Default Best Sealent/ Silicone for installing Transducer

Hello all & Happy New Year

Wife bought me a chartplotter/fishfinder and was thinking about installing it ........ We'll see how that goes. Anybody know the best sealant as of late. Google is all old results...Thanks

    3M™ Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200

    That stuff is bad ass. Any holes below the water line and I would be using this stuff. Just my 2¢

    +1 on the 3M 5200, especially for under the waterline. It's the industry standard. However just be prepared, once it sets, it's permanent, it'll never be able to be removed. It's extremely strong stuff.
