Trailer master cylinder needed
I have a z215 96 Talari trailer and my master cylinder is shot. Where would I get one?
Thanks in advance Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk |

Here is one place Hydraulic Surge Trailer Brake Actuators at Trailer Parts Superstore |
Re: Trailer master cylinder needed
Thanks Larry
So you replace the while works?!! And not just the master...ok I will need to tear into it...thanks again Al |
Re: Trailer master cylinder needed
That's the easiest and safest way to get it back to working condition Al. :)
Just measure the size of the tongue main beam on your trailer , and order or pickup the size coupler that fits. Can you give us a pic of your existing mount? |

Re: Trailer master cylinder needed
Do you have drum or disc brakes Al?
|
Re: Trailer master cylinder needed
Drum....those pins are a biatch to get out...especially the front one

Re: Trailer master cylinder needed
Did you get it off?
Use a die grinder , or maybe a dremel if you have too. Then you can get one like the #70463 in link I gave you , or similar style. |
Re: Trailer master cylinder needed
Yeah ...got it off. So now I have basically 2 parts...the hitch and master cylinder..
I wonder if I should convert it to electric brakes? If it can be done then I would have to worry about leaks again... |
Re: Trailer master cylinder needed
Electric brakes and water don't get along real well Al , but if your in a freshwater area all the time , I would think they would be fine.
Some of the other members with trailer brakes can give you a better opinion on them. My little Diablo trailer has none. |
