Hi, I am a new owner of a 2005 mariah sx19 with a carb'd 4.3 liter mercrusier. I have found only 4 drain plugs on the entire engine.

1)two on the right side
2)one in front on a hose
3)one on the left side

can anyone tell me if I have missed one - i hear that there are 5 is that correct

Looking at the engine in from inside the boat, there are two on each side under the block and one in the front close to you halfway down to your left by the thermostat housing. The thermostat housing on the front of the engine has a c-shaped hose on the left (side with the fuel filter). At the base, there should be another blue plug. You have to squeeze your hand alongside the serpentine belts to get to it. If you happen to not have one, unclamp the hose to get the water out.

Hi I found the 2 on the right side but could only find one on the left.

There are 5 for sure.

Right and left exhaust manifolds. They are the easy to see easy to reach plugs. These are the ones you have found on the sides.

Right and left engine block. They are the ones you can't see easily. Reach farther down from the exhaust plugs and in towards the block. They are there. Took me a while to find them as well.

One in the front.
