Default Vinyl Repair pics!

So the previous owner of my boat liked to wakeboard and they caused some tears and dings in my seats. The interior guys I talked said they should just be replaced. I found a company that repairs leather, sort of a liquid leather process but much more indepth, and of course done by a pro. Here are the results:

Before-rear bench seat

Headrest Before

Engine Cover before

Passenger Seat before

Looks great! What was the product they used, and how much did the repair cost? This would be very helpful to our members!

It is a company called Fibrenew, http://www.fibrenew.com/ They have franchises all over the world, you can search for one near you on their website. The products are all their own. They used a subpatch on the big tears, followed by a liquid leather type thing. Then the patch was sanded, colored, and an airbrush was used to blend it in. Total damage was $150. It took him two trips out and about 5 hours. The Repairs are not 100% invisible except for the passenger seat, that one came out perfect. He said to use if for a few weeks to let the sun and bodies go to work on the repairs and he will come out to do some finishing touches. He did say the the vinyl was the softest and highest quality he had ever worked on, that is Mariah for ya!

Awesome photos! I have a rear jump seat in my boat that is split pretty bad. But, being a jump seat it gets stepped on when leaving / entering the boat. So I haven't bothered to really fix it.. hehe.

This link should be added to the Mariah Parts list sticky in the Original Mariah section

Where is that Willy guy ....

Awesome, Theres a place just a few miles for where get my boat winterized. I have a few scrapes on a back seat where the previous owners took the engine hatch in and out. For that price I will have mine fixed this winter. Thanks this is going to help alot of people on this site.

The guy I worked with said that their minimum is $80, so if you have only a couple dings it will not be as much as mine. I had about 3 2" tears and probably 15 nick and scrapes all over the headrests. They also re-colored the very front of my bench, someone had used tanning oil on their legs and left two brown stains in the vinyl.

    Default Seats and upholstery

Hey bpfirrman! I took your advice and used fibrenew......They have my captains seat and will come back sometime this week to finish the rest of my upholstery. Thanks for great info! I will let you know how it turns out. Oh, and it was $250 for everything....not bad.
