Default Trailer bunkboard replacement

I need to replace the bunkboards on my trailer. What kind of lumber is used for this? My inner fender boards are rotten also, as I touched one yesterday and it just crumbled

As long as you have a few nuts, bolts and screws left over after the job is done, it should work!

Ive been reading into this recently. If I were to go get the wood today I would most likely head to an actual lumber yard and pay for some decent treated wood. As far as I have read the treated wood just keeps it from rotting. Getting a higher tier wood from a lumber yard will help ensure it does not warp or twist as bad as the Lowes/Home Depot stuff might. If you find a more solid answer somewhere Id like to hear it. I have read of folks just using basic fur or pine up to some of the bad ass hard woods like Brazilian Cherry($$$$). Whatever Prestige trailer used would be good if I knew what it was- it has lasted since 2000...
I did use a high grade marine plywood for the fender wells. I put a couple coats of exterior paint on them to seal it up as good as possible. That was over three years ago and they are holding up good.

Thanks, Moto. I was looking at maybe using cedar. The treated stuff from Home Depot and lowes is real cruddy stuff. I've used it on various projects around the house and it will twist and warp like crazy

It appears my 2000 Prestige trailer inner fender boards are made out of some sort of cement board, approximately 1" thick. I had a blow out on my way home and it broke part of the board near a mounting screw or I probably would have never known.
