The prop guards are gone Mikey
A couple of points were made apparent in this mornings flight,
    Firstly
    They catch the wind.
    secondly
    They reduce prop efficiency.
And Finally (this was pointed out to me by someone else)
They look perfect for getting hooked up in trees

Flew it again this evening without the guards, behaved much better

As long as you have a few nuts, bolts and screws left over after the job is done, it should work!

Haha, yup. A brewery was doing just that for ice fishermen recently but they got shut down by the FAA. Apparently there's a bunch of stuff up in the air about commercially using these in the US right now.

A 12 pack of bottles has to weigh around 10 lbs. Bezo's said Amazon's planned limit is 5 lbs so their crafts must not be nearly as beefy as whatever Lakemaid was using or he was just being really conservative.

Yes there is... I read an article on popular mechanics about it, sept 2013 issue.
they are talking about licensing for the "pilots".

    Too far, if I'm honest!
It will quite happily fly out of site...

It does however have a failsafe built in so that it will return to it's start point if it loses the signal from the transmitter. All controlled by GPS
