How fun!! I read up on a few of them. Never could find a speed that they are capable of. They would be handy at the track, just don't know if it'd fly next to bikes at speed

    I wouldn't know Mikey?
It's not like you can walk into a walmart and pick up a missile launcher with your bread and milk!
Well not in the UK any way

    That's impressive!

Do you have the LEDs on yours too? I would have a blast flying that at night.
There would be a lot more UFO sightings in my neighborhood!!

    Took it out tonight.
Strange as it sounds it's easier to fly at night (if you know where the trees are!)
The lights are a lot clearer at night so it's easier to tell at distance what way it's pointing....
I did have a couple of close calls with tree's that I didn't know about until after I got home and looked at the onboard video

It did get the locals looking and pointing!.....lol

Also I was tracking one of the tractor/lawnmowers at one of my jobs yesterday, it get very difficult to aim the camera at distance

I'm thinking a set of Fatshark goggles are on the shopping list.

    Yeah that is cool
It's the same guy who did the "DJI PHANTOM CHASING SUMMER TIME" Vid.

Must be nice to have some sunshine and a decent subject matter too film.
Hopefully all this practice will come good and i'l have some fun out on the boat this summer

With a bit of luck i'l get to film this lot this year.

Get set for the Cowes Torquay Cowes powerboat race

    First round of upgrades
Better Props, Carbon fibre Prop guards, because these props are not as forgiving as the standard ones!
Voltage meter with built in low voltage alarm.

    Oh and a Camera Gimbal

    Still to come,
Longer landing gear (also Carbon fibre) and FatShark FPV Goggles
    A bit concerned about weight!
I will be interested to see how much impact it has on battery life?
The Transmitter for the goggles is still to be added to the phantom and hopefully the extended landing gear, being carbon fibre wont be to bad.
It's already gone up from 623g to 1003g
