Default so whats new! ?!?!?

Alrighty well I havent really been hanging out on here lately,... .been too busy with my life on weekends I havent had time to worry about the boat! ROFL !

Anyhoo, just figured I would let you guys know what im up to these days...

This month my girlfriend and I will be racing R/C (radio controlled) cars for the first time in the basement of a Royal Canadian Legion for the entire winter. Races will run Saturday afternoons from 3pm to 9pm until April-ish.

I have also been tinkering with an RC rock crawler build. Click below for the build threads that i created over the past few months.

So now what I want to know is .... how is everyone else passing their time over the winter???

Hey Diablo....glad to see you're still alive & kickin'.

Other than work and spending my spare time surfin' the net and fixing things the kids have broken, playing a little hockey on Monday nites, etc etc etc., i lead a relatively quiet life. It's what happens when you start getting a little older ( i turned 54 yesterday )

Racing RC cars sounds interesting & different. A couple of my neighbours have some high-end cars that they race up & down the court and as well have helicopters that they fly around the school yard behind our house here. It sounds like you could spend a fair bit of $$ keeping that hobby going.

Yeah, I used to tinker with the R/C cars also... and it does get expensive.

    Happy B-Day Mikeyt!!!

I'm still in the process of cleaning and repairing the boat for it's hibernation. Problem is, I need to finish building my deck, install a service door in the garage to the deck, clean the garage out of all the tools/wood/etc. from building the deck, and find a place to put the rest of my junk accumulated over the summer so I can fit the boat and both cars in the garage again (Wife is starting to get pissed!!!)! Oh yeah, I need to get the lawn back in order, finish the detail work in my basement, and somehow leave time for the wife and kids! I won't even show you the list of items the boat needs!!!

Isn't boat ownership wonderful?!?! All that time this summer relaxing on it is making me pay!!! Oh well, I have all winter to keep my mind off of it doing these projects! I can't wait to see the "honey do" list after I complete MY things!

    Happy belated birthday mikeyt.
Been working around the house, catchin up on the "honey do" list. Picking the boat up from winterization and a new cover, on Saturday. Then it is off to the mushroom mines for winter storeage. The wife has several jobs for me, first of all fencing in the yard so the dogs (3) don't run all over the neighborhood. Already I can't wait to get back on the water.

    woohoooo im baaaaaaaack...

The webpage told me I havent been on here in a while and to post a message. So I thought why not check in on my little thread and see whats new.

Happy very very very belated Bday MikeyT

Yeah RC Cars tend to be a bit of a money pit.... but if you wanna play .. you gotta pay!. I just dont like sitting around idle for too long. This way the gf can spend some time with me racing indoors. So this will give me something to do this winter and racing in an organized event might be fun.

As for the boat ... well its all asleep and nothing much else to say about it.
