Amazing isn't it,Us Canadians are thinking about the Thanksgiving Turkey and what kind of Turkey we are about to elect in Tuesdays Federal Election(CANADIAN)
This weekend in the Toronto area is supposed to be one of the best weather weekends in a long time ,but of course I had my boat prepped for haulout so we are not doing the boating thing. Ah well '
Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadians!!!

My boat went to bed a couple of weeks ago, which was too bad, b/c I went up to close up the cottage yesterday, and the water was perfect!

Oh well. I guess I'll just have to stuff myself with turkey to console myself...

    Happy Thanksgiving guys!

Wish I was going boating today too!!! It’s supposed to be 25C here later today. Oh well... guess I’ll have an extra helping of mashed potatoes and gravy instead.

We did it! First time out since our shortlived July 01 weekend. We put in at Lasalle Park in Burlington (Hamilton harbour) and cruised out under the Burlington Skyway bridge and all the way down to Mississauga (Port Credit) before we stopped off in downtown Oakville on the way back and had a quick bite to eat. Trip was smooth & very little fog to deal with although it was starting to get a little choppy & cooler the closer we got to Toronto but the boat ran great down & back. We even got back in time to put a ham on the rotisserie, cooked up our last butternut squash & a few potatoes out of the veggie garden and made a French chocolate pie and washed it down with a bottle of wine. It was great to sit out on the back deck in the warm weather & watch the sun go down to cap off a perfect day with the Mariah.

Good question....hmmm. Me thinks it would be about 40 - 45 miles in each direction and we did some running around in Hamilton harbour when we got back.
