Default Just upgraded my monitor ...

Well since I can't spend anymore cash on the boat till next year, I bought myself a new computer monitor ....

Previously I was using a 10 year old (to the month build date) Optiquest V73 17" CRT monitor with a max resolution of 1024x768.

Yesterday my girlfriend and I were in Futureshop and I picked up a Samsung 22" T220 LCD monitor with a max resolution of 1600x1050.

.. ...

Man these webpages are big now.. and now I dont have to scroll around to see the whole page.. hah.

Nice! Besides the larger viewing area, how does it look? Samsung has really grown on me, in fact, I'd rank them near the top of most consumer goods.

See, that darn old " itis " bug can strike anywhere!

Gee, 22" huh, and they say size doesn't matter... I only have 19" monitors on my PC, I'm a little jealous now...

Honestly, it doesnt look any bit different then before, in terms of layout on the full size of the monitor that is. It is just that it either is stretched to fit or the webpage is only formatted to a certain size of res (1024x768) .. kinda thing. I just figured everything would look smaller for some odd reason.

Games surprisingly run at 1600x1050 resolution. Which I thought for sure my computer was going to choke and die on.

Guitar HeroIII is now fun again! Because I can actually see wtf im hitting.

Tried out COD2 (yeah.. very old sckewl) and FarCry.
