Holy sh*t! Glad to hear your son is okay but damm, that is tough luck.

btw....You didn't say anything to the insurance company about the blown engine in the Mariah did you? I wouldn't.......it will considerably lower the settlement value if the boat is a total loss from the accident.

    The boat wasn't hit by anything, just the skis. Do you think insurance would cover the blown engine?

    Yes, I wish the boat had been hit instead... in the rear!

    No, the insurance wont cover a blown engine. If you figure your Mariah is a total loss just from the accident damages then i wouldn't mention anything about the motor unless you are specifically asked about it. I dont advocate lying but i do believe in only providing answers to questions that are specifically asked and not volunteering information when it comes to insurance.....
