Yup, looks pretty wild!
Your right, it is basically like an enclosed Jet Ski with a prop instead of jetdrive. Saw this on the Discovery Channel and in Popular Mechanics Magazine many years ago.
Back then, they tried to make it sound like it was a small sub that flew under water but later we found out it can't really submerge under the water, it just dives just under the surface then back up because it's not really water tight, too buoyant and needs outside air to run.
It was great if you wanted to lose your lunch! I don't think they sold too many because if my memory still works, it was pretty pricey and the only thing it did that a Jet Ski couldn’t was consistent corkscrews.
