Taylor Tower - Any Opinions?
 

I have been looking at the TaylorTower, I like the looks of it and probably more importantly the way it connects to the boat, with the shoe style clamps. I also like that it will go over the existing bimini top.
On the Taylor website it mentions that the tower can be mounted anywhere on the boat, by this I mean towards the bow or the stern. Does it matter where the tower is positioned, does it have to be centered over the middle of the boat for the best performance? Also, are all other brands of towers able to be placed any where on the boat as the Taylor claims? The web site says "The design of the Taylor Tower with its unique TT Foot allows you unparalleled flexibility to choose where you want to mount the tower. You decide how far forward or how far toward the rear of the boat you want to install the tower—giving you the ability to optimize the tower’s placement for the most graceful look and functionality."
Thanks for all your help, also what wake tower do you have, why do you love it and what would you change if you could??
