Nauticus Smart Tabs and Trailering and the PR500

OK, I'm sold...I want the Smart Tabs to correct my porpoising and help with planing! I've seen several pictures in the forums with them installed and the boats are on trailers so it appears that as long as the supports on the trailer don't stick out past the transom you are OK even without the PR500 bracket?

I'm considering putting the PR500 bracket on anyway as doing this later would result in different holes being drilled than the standard bracket and this allows me to disengage the tabs at anytime. Anyone have experience with these either good or bad?

no experience but I will be doing the same thing this winter when I install a tower. Gonna get the SX Tabs and PR500 bracket.

I should have been more clear. The "these" I was referring too are the PR500 brackets. Does anyone have experience with these either good or bad?

Yep ,
Had them on the Smart Tabs on my old VIP boat.
To be honest , the only time I saw any real benefit from them was when I was drifting to control excessive wandering or when I was deep trolling using the tabs to slow the boat a bit.
I never once used the PR500 as a disconnect feature , nor do I see a benefit of doing that.
