Default Need help with trailer tires

I would go to the local tire shop and ask for the highest ply tire they have for that size. Thats alot of weight and it likes to sway. I had to upgrade the tires on the truck b/c i tow a cab over camper and my boat and i was getting alot of sway and blew out a couple tires till i switched to a higher ply tire.

That is the problem , they don't have higher rated tires in the 14" size he has. Everything is load range C anymore.

I found some nice Kumho load range D 14" tires last year.. They're very well made.

I pulled my 302 from Tulsa to KC to Lawrence to LOTO running 70-75 with no problems. Two new tires on 1 out of 3 axles.

I bought the boat with 4 brand new tires like this on its trailer. They seem to be holding up well. I had no idea about ST being sub par to the LT tires. Not that I plan on buy buying anytime soon but I'll have to look into that for the next go around

I'd like to 2nd the recommendation for the Kumho tires. I've had a set on the boat trailer for 3 years now with no issues. They're made in Korea and not China.
