Replacing Trailer Axle

It appears I need to replace the front axle on my Chariot trailer. It's wearing the inside of the tires severely and the trailer doesn't appear to be out of alignment when I measure from the tongue. I also called a local trailer shop and they told me it's likely that I have a bent spindle and I should replace the axle.

So the problem is that I don't know where to buy one or what to order. There are a million websites for trailer axles (including the ones in the recommended resources). How do I know which will work with my trailer? If anyone has replaced theirs, I'd love to know how you determined fit. It seems like it's not as simple as measuring length.

Take a look here.
They have lots of info.
You need to know the trailer capacity from the tag. I bet you have 3500lb axles.
Need to know length of axle , style of axle(straight , drop , torsion or leaf) , tube style(square or round) , and more.
But they can , and will help you :)

Thanks! I guess it won't matter that my current axles use bearing buddies and these use spindle-lube, right?

Nope.......... doesn't matter , but I like the lube setup better.
But the bearing buddies work great too. That's what I am running with no issues over 12 yrs I have used them. :)
