If you're feeling adventurous sometime, try just barely covering the fenders and see how your boat loads. You may find you can load your boat quite easily with the added bonus that your feet don't even get wet.
my fenders are about a foot under the water.

if i dont put it in that much i have the same problem as the OP and i cant pull boat all the way on the trailer. and with these custom trailers if u dont pull the boat all the way on my lowwer unit hangs too low for comfort.

Not sure about the newer trailers, but with the older Prestige trailers, dipping them until the tops are fenders are at the water line is about perfect whether we're at the launch or just revovering straight off the beach. Same goes for my jet ski trailer too. The older Prestige trailers are really low so, as stated before, you have to be careful with your drive or in my case the trailer acting like a sled in deep sand.

Thanks to all of your comments. Yesterday, we sunk the trailer fenders till they were just under water, as many of you suggested, and I was able to drive the boat right up the trailer perfectly! Finally, I did something right!!
