Default Trailer brake rebuild

When I got this boat a couple of years ago the trailer brakes didn't work, I haven't had any trouble towing with my truck but thinking about fixing them. It's a trail rite single axle with drums. The actuator hasn't had a reservoir cap since I got it and the brake line is smashed in a couple places. Instead of trying to fix it piece by piece I'm going to replace the actuator/lines and do wheel bearings when I converte over to disc. I already found a Kodiak brake set and will do my own brake lines. Long story to get to my question but does anyone have any comments or concerns on the actuators I'm looking into the 6000lb surge with electric lock out from Demco or Titan

Or any thoughts on Electric brakes
I have always heard that they don't go well with boat trailers because they get submerged in water

I did the swap last winter rewired the entire trailer and put new led lights, bearings, hub's and drums. Works great just added a short piece of angle iron to the tongue to mount the break away battery a little higher up to keep it out of the water when launching. For the cost difference I'm pretty happy, only in fresh water so I think it'll last. And I always unplug
