The coil are. As in the ignition coil ?
If so, maybe your tach wire.
Like Hudson Steve said, your choke on the carb (carbed???) may be toast.
I've found when they run for a little then shut down for a while, is almost always a coil going out. They get hot and must cool down before they start working again. Do you have access to a multimeter ?
