I am thinking about picking up a 2010 or 2011 R189, dealership is telling me it is about 23,500 depending on the options. Just wanted to see how much some of you were able to talk them down. Hoping to get it for 20,000 or 21,000.

I picked up my 2009 R18.9 with a 3.0 back in May. New off the lot with bow and cockpit covers, depth finder and snap in carpeting installed and on a Tennessee trailer. It has the double gel coat, transom drive control and compass package. Paid 18,500.

Thanks for the reply, was the price set or did you talk them down?

They didn't say anything to me about double gel coat, is it worth it? how much was that? I hope to order mine in the next month or so.

I bought it off the lot. The double gel coat means that the hull is a primarily a color instead of white with a strip. Mine is Red with a white strip. I talked them down some from their posted price. The MSRP was 27K. As far as double gel coat being worth it, it does look good but it also shows scuffs more than white will. In fact, I have a small nick in the aft port corner that I need to address.

Also it depends on what the engine combo is.... 5.0 etc mpi...

Whats the mph u get with your 3.0. I have the same and I think I could be going alittle faster, what prop do you have? I think it has to have a lot to do with how heavy Mariah makes there boats. My neighbor has the same size and a 3.0 but his is a bayliner, he blows me away and he has alot of peope on his boat. Also I cant seem to get that silver Mariah sticker, the dealer cant seem to locate it! Mine started coming off.

By the speedo, I get around 40-45. By my butt, I'd guess more like 35-ish.
I need to take it out with the GPS to get an accurate measurment.

As for the sticker, which one?

the chrome looking mariah sticker that is on the sides of the boat, I only had it for 3 months and the stickers are falling off! Im in the process of getting them now.
