Declaration of conformity SX18, 2005
 

Hello, I have a used Mariah 18 SX speedboat from 2005.

With the CE type plate in the boat, but the declaration of conformity CE for this pleasure craft has been lost.
I need to request a new document for this boat by an authorized SeaFox dealer?


The production of Mariah boats is currently at a complete standstill.
In 2001, the shipyard announced its closure. The factory and equipment were sold at auction, and the hull forms, patents and rights to the brand were bought by Sea Fox Boats.


Belgian government tells me to request a copy from a Sea Fox Dealer! …. I can not find an Belgian or Dutch dealer....
Can some one please help me?

Umm, ok. You're partially correct and that information is all well documented here on this site. The original Mariah company did close its doors in 2001 and Sea-Fox was one of the two manufacturers (Chapparal being the other) that bought the hull forms from the final auction. Sea-Fox also bought the rights to the name and produced their version of a Mariah until 2013 and they sold the rights to the name around 2015. All that said, Sea-Fox still exists in Moncks Corner, South Carolina and. although they do not provide support for their Mariah boats, they may be able to help you with that documentation.
