Default 2006 SX25 tach problem

ccess SX 25
Help needed on my SX 25. My tech is not working I have no access to the back of it. Does anyone know how to access the back of the tack or pull the tack out of the dash. Removing the dash looks to be a job of jobs.I have drilled a hole under the dash but still have no access to the gauge cluster any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great day

I tried to take mine out as well, by removing the small dash panel. Looks like I will need to remove the entire dash section and get to it from the back. I think I will Dremel the rivets out and pull it off.

I'm not familiar with the details of those Sea-Fox boats but doesn't the seat back in the bow lift off (or maybe hinged) so that you can access the back of the dash? Or is there a kick panel underneath the dash that when removed will allow you to access the back side of the dash? You really do not want to take the dash apart if possible.

As for the tach itself, the usual solution (assuming that all of the wiring is in place/connected and not corroded) is to spin that little 4-6-8 wheel on the back of the tach a few times then re-set it at the correct# of cylinders your engine has.
