Mercury Manuals CD ROM OK

Various small papers Yes, all sort of commercial stuff

Hose connector-7252 Don't have it, bought a flush kit

Added this:

3 drain plugs for cooler/swim platform OK
Clarion removal toolset OK

Reviewing our lists - they are both close..

BIMININ Top mounting instructions - these are dimensions, mounting points etc with a drawing. Not overly useful but interesting - I will post this in the manuals section

Double loop tool - it is in a bag and looks very familiar as a part on the boat but I can't figure where from. I sort of wondered if it was a tool to open the fuel cap, i.e. a sort of large key, but I don't have the boat now to try it? I will photo and post it.

Mercury manuals cd. I am glad you have it because can you believe my luck, my CD someone managed to staple through the CD and it is now useless!

The bolt looks to be like some sort of drain plug - I will photo and post

The 7252 plug is just the fittment for muffs - I also bought these - you would think on a $14,000 engine they would throw a set in FOC.

I also have the Bungs and clarion removal tools - just forgot to post them.

I will try to do a nice summary list of what it would seem you should get with your boat and post this in the manuals section.

If the double loop tool is what I think it is then it's used to remove the gas cap. I got all of the things mentioned by everyone. Still can't believe they don't have anything specific to the craft.

    Default Heard back from Mariah

I sent a question through the Mariah web site and got a response. Below is their answer and my response:

Thank you for your reply Amy.

I received a copy of the NMMA manual which is fine for general boating
knowledge but doesn't tell me anything specific about my boat. The spec
sheet you attached (which I already had from your web site) does not provide
much detail. For example, what's the model number for the radio (there was
no radio manual)? My boat has the upgrade with satellite.

Other things such as how to operate the controls, how to adjust the seat,
how to assemble/disassemble the Bimini Top are not covered at all.

General Motors has large variety of cars, SeaRay has a large variety of
boats and yet both companies include an owner's manual with all vehicles. If
this is a cost cutting move being as it is expensive to print and distribute
manuals why can't you have detailed owner instructions posted on your web
site for download? That wouldn't cost much at all. For the Mariah line you'd
only need to create a manual per product line so 4 isn't exorbitant.

I believe that Sea Fox and Mariah should rethink this policy and provide
your customers with the details an Owner's Manual would provide.

Thanks again for replying to my inquiry.

    Rick Cooley

    Default looking for manual

I am also looking for manual on the 5.7 merc with alpha one drive, gearing , rpm's, two barrel or 4 barrel . different prop sizes for my boat and if anyone could tell me if i can switch to mpi or to the four barrel. Had the boat out last week using gps and only got up to 48mph . Any ideas to increase speed without changing bottom end. My boat is a 1997 shabah 198se.

This is the same package as you will get in Holland, the general owners manual, Mercruiser owners manual and the general information of the depth finder and the Clarion.

As I had a Bayliner before, most of things were common, but for anyone who is new in boating it is a little bit strange to receive a general manual. This will be something for Mariah to supply a manual for the new Mariah.

I own a Mariah SX 18 2008, with a Mercruiser 3.0TKS, with, the wonderfull, powersteering, and it is running perfectly.

umm..ok. Since you have a '95 'runabout' according to your profile, you need to post this in the "Original Mariah" section. As for asking about obtaining a manual, this is a really common request. Manuals are available to contributing members but realize that the manual is very generic and contains only general boating information. If you have a specific question about the operation of your boat, feel free to post them in the Original Mariah section and someone will help you out.

I just purchased a 1998 Z260. Beutiful boat. I hope it treats me as well as it looks. I have looked all over the web for any kind of owners manuals. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Or, you might want to try the one just above your post. It should have the info you need.
