Listing to Port
 

Hi, I have a 2003 SX8 that lists to port a few inches. I have heard this is normal in these boats due to the offset of the fuel tank, exhaust manifold, trim pump, and battery all being on one side. Can anyone confirm? i am about to start a project reupholstering the boat, but dont want to sink in tons of money if its going to need have a structural repair. I moved the battery to the starboard side, and it helped immensely.

It can be an issue and yes, moving things from side to side should help. Consider installing a set of Nauticus Smart Tabs too and they will help with the balance as well as getting your boat onto plane faster and keeping it there longer.
