Have not owned a boat before and now looking at this one in Stuart Florida. It has a 5.0 with Bravo II. It has about 400 hours on it, and does not come with a trailer. From the pics it looks very nice, hope to go see it today.
I'm also thinking about getting a boat inspector to take a close look, since I know cars and motorcycles, but not boats. Anything I should be on the look out for?
If all goes well, hope to be boating in the Indian River soon.

I'd definitely hire a surveyor, if you're not familiar with what to look for in a boat. They've got the tools and know-how to find everything. They're not cheap, (usually in the $500+ range), but I can tell you they're worth it in the long run. I used one when I bought my Z280 and he found a serious issue that I never would have noticed, which allowed me to renegotiate the deal. My recommendation would be to hire one that isn't affiliated with the dealer/broker you're purchasing it from also. Just do a search for "marine surveyors, stuart florida". There will likely be quite a few of them, and if you're looking for the best, look for someone who's certified in "SAMS", the society of american marine surveyors. They'll inspect the boat (usually without you being present), and will present you with a full report and documentation on what they find. It's a great re-assurance if you're buying a gem, or a lemon...

Since you're not familiar with boats, most dealerships will take you out and show you the ropes of boating as a condition of the sale. But ask them if they can suggest a captain who could take you out for a more in-depth training with the boat. It'll be worth it as well!
