flo-torq hubs?
2 Attachment(s)
As I’ve recently changed boats (and drives, from mercruiser to Volvo) and as most of my props are for mercruiser,
I’ve decided to change the hubs on some of my shinier spinning tin. The question is has anybody used these new flo-torq hubs? I’m used to the older rubber hubs and this one took 10 tonne to press out of the prop, but these new "plastic hubs don't look like there up to the job! |
Re: flo-torq hubs?
I've used one with my SS prop for about 4 yrs now without any problem.

Re: flo-torq hubs?
cheers for that, :wink_thumbup:
out of interest what prop are you running on your alpha? and is there much difference between you shabah 180 and my diablo 180? (weight/hull desiegn) |
Re: flo-torq hubs?
There is not a lot of difference between the Shabah & Diablo in size or weight. I run a 20" x 4blade SS Apollo prop on mine. We do a little bit of wakeboarding etc behind her and that prop gives good bite at both low & mid range rpms without sacrificing more then 2mph off the top end.
