98 shabah 255 propeller question
Recently picked up a 98 Shabah z255 with a 7.4 bravo III. I am having an issue with the boat leaning down on the right side quite a bit. It starts as soon as I get moving until I am almost running all out. By running all out still has a lean but not as bad. Doesnt matter if I am loaded with people or just my wife and I. Both props are 28 pitch and I run at 4K trim down but once I adjust the trim I run close to 4200. Should I try a 26 pitch? I read I should be 4200-4600 full throttle. Would that possible level things out? I had a four winns that seemed to lean and it seemed once I changed the prop it was much better. Any other things I could try besides prop or trim tabs? Thanks

Re: 98 shabah 255 propeller question
The lean is called "Listing." All boats do it a little due to the engine torque. Mine did it to the left when I bought it (but I have a single prop).... It had a whale tail on it, and when I removed it it seemed to stop. When a dropped my prop pitch it seemed to help it a little more. Sounds like you are overpropped, but those BravoIII props are quite pricey!

Re: 98 shabah 255 propeller question
Are the batteries located on the rh side in the rear? Mine were on my Z272 and it did the same thing. I relocated the batteries to the Lh side and it resolved the issue. With the weight of me and both batteries it was enough to roll it to that side.
