Help with prop selection

I have a 2000 222 with a new 350 Mag and bravo III outdrive. I was able to get the boat out to do the engine break in and made a few WOT passes. I got 3900 rpm trimmed out and 45.7 mph on GPS. Lake elevation is 6100ft. Oh, and this was with 3 people and full tank of gas.

It has 24P 3 blade props with a 1.80 gear ratio in the drive. I was told by the engine builder that I could safely push 5000 rpm but I don't want to wear it out to soon so my target is 4800. I would like some input on 3 verse 4 blade props and what pitch to go with.

I figure 20 pitch should get me 4700rpm and a 19P about 4900 on 3 bladed props. What would it be for 4 bladed and what are the pros and cons?

Thanks in advance.

I find my four blades let the revs spool up without too much initial propulsion, plane faster.
I'd think, if I were you I'd try a 21, cheaper than a 20.
