Z272 with a 502 Bravo I
If any of you have the 272 with a 502 Bravo I setup, I'd be curious to know what size and brand of prop you are running. This is the first summer with the boat and I think it is propped too much. I can only hit around 3800-4200 RPM with 6 people depending water conditions. The engine speck is 4600-5000 RPM at WOT I believe. The boat also seems sluggish out of the hole and has trouble plaining out it also wants to cavitate when going into a turn. It currently has a Mirage Stainless Steel 23p 3-blade prop. I am considering going to a 19p 4 blade setup. Any suggestions.
