Need a prop

Happy New Year to all

Daylight savings starts mar14th and spring is mar 20th.

The numbers on my prop are as follows
23380
48 832830 A 46 19 3 blade

It is on a merc alpha one outdrive on our Mariah 200z Talari. The prop worked fine and then one day we hit a shale outcrop and bent the blades and also took a chunk out of each. The plastic insert is fine. It seems to overrev as compared to how it used to be. We were looking at upgrading to a Stainless Steel 3 blade. We only use the craft for wakeboarding and tubing.
If any one has one for sale or can reccommend a website with good prices for this application would be appreciated.
I have a paypal account and can pay immediately.

Re: Need a prop

I just bought a prop through iboats.com. Mine is aluminum, but I got a Michigan Wheel prop, 3 blade for just over $100 with free shipping. I went on some of the members' suggestions as to pitch. They have stainless steel as well in the 200-300 range. I'm going to buy a 4 blade as well in case the 3 doesn't have enough to get it going to ski with. I haven't decided what pitch to go with although I may just go with the one that I took off which was also a 4 blade that had seen better days.

Re: Need a prop

I bought a 4 blade - 20" SS Michigan 'Apollo' prop from I-boats last year. Prices were quite reasonable & as Tom notes, they had free shipping within the USA. A 3 blade 19" or a 4 blade 20" should do the trick for you and thats the two props i have. The 4 blades give a little more 'bite' and the 3 blades are slightly faster.

Re: Need a prop

Brian, your accident makes a good case of why I always use a prop with a break-away hub. The last owner didn't and it was a $2500 bent prop shaft and gear replacement.:shakehead:
And YES spring spring sounds good! ( It was 1*F here last night.)
