Default Prop dilema

Hello. I have a 1993 shabah 212 z with a 350 magnum and a alph one outdrive. I'm wondering what the best prop would be for wakeboarding. My friend uses a highfive on his 2001 212 with a volvo, would that be a good choice for mine? I have a quicksilver mirage 17 pitch on now. It seems to have good top end speed, but is hard to maintain wakeboarding speed, especially when turning.Thank you.

    Probably something in a 4 or 5 blade setup would be best for a watersports.

    I'm kind of surpised you see the kind of performance you do. Most of the 20' Mariah's on here with the 350+Alpha turn a 19p or 21p blade. 17 should give you better hole shot at the cost of top end.

    If you know your boat's WOT, top speed, and drive ratio, you can use the Mercury prop selector to see what they recommend;

    The hole shot isn't bad. I've had it doing 50 all planed out according to the speedometer, but it probably isn't right. I think I'll try a five blade. Any suggestions on pitch.
