"Liquid Lite" Underwater lighting

I bought a "Liquid Lite". It screws into the drain plug fitting. I got the Blue color. It has 6 LEDs and is supposed to be twice as bright as the "Plug Light" from Canada. No holes to drill is what impressed me. Can't wait to try it out.

I got in on a deal through another boating forum. They made the deal for $199 if they had 6 (I think) members sign up and commit to buy. Could probably set up a similar deal here if we had enough members want me to follow up on it. It normally sells for $299. here is the link to their site: Liquid Lite™ - Home of Your Underwater Boat and Light Garboard Drain Light

When you get a chance to test it out, post some pics and a review if you could! :)

Jeez that looks awesome but dang they're expensive. I dont know if Im on the lake enough at night to warrant the cost of that.

But man do I want one.

Re: "Liquid Lite" Underwater lighting

I used the light on the 4th of July.... It is really cool looking. Kind of a purple/Blue glow behind the boat. I really like it. Probably won't use it a lot as we don't do a lot of night boating, but when we do, It's really cool.

Re: "Liquid Lite" Underwater lighting

Ii bought a liquid lite last year. Yes it looks cool, but I was disappointed in the amount of light that was visible. It all depends on how clear the water is. Remember, those photos are taken in blue water and the light was mounted between two outboards, or possibly an inboard. My problem was that my out drive blocked a lot of the light when the drive was down. However, when we were anchored during a fireworks display, I raised the out drive and it made a big difference. The only other pitfall I can fathom is the strength of the wires since I remove have to remove it every time I put the boat on the trailer. So far, so good. I hope this helps.
