Default Fusion Electronics

I am totally sold on Fusion Electronics. But this year, they introduced at CES a whole new world in the marine stereo world.

Check out the new 700 series equipment. Marine Stereo for iPod (MS-IP700) | FUSION Electronics

They are forward thinkers that for sure. Check out the connectivity FUSION Electronics

so you buy this head unit, bury it in a cabinet somewhere, dock your ipod (or USB flash drive), install only one wired remote on the back swim step and control it all anywhere from your iphone. 4 speaker zones, 2 sub outs. If you have a boat like mine, and it has two stereo systems, you can link the two head untis together and still control them all from your iphone.

Im thinking a new IP700 in the main cabin, then a AV700 (dvd) model down below with a small flat screen monitor (for those overnight stays).

Then thru their fusion link systems you can ad a NWEA chart plotter/fish finder that also can be controlled by your stereo/iphone as well.http://www.fusionelectronics.com/mar...0-connectivity

Once they perfect this, just ad a 4 Tb flash drive and put every movie and song you own for the rest of your life on it and your set for a long haul.

Oregondunes, I'm about to pull the trigger on a MS-AV600 head unit and the USB/ipod dock to replace the VHF radio slot that came in my Z302.

Question do you know if you can play music from apps like pandroa thru this unit or just what's in your in my library?

My daughter plays music that she has downloaded to her iPhone from Youtube that she has in a special playlist.

You cannot access other apps on your "I" products on my unit (IP 500), maybe the newer ones you can.

I'm eying the Ip700 right now with a 12v router. Download the Fusion Link to all my "I" products and control the entire system from any "I' product on the boat. Wont be long before Ill just install a 1T flash drive and put everything I own on it. Pull it into the driveway and wirelessly sync it with updates.
