1997 Shabah 180 Interior is TOAST
My 1997 was left out in the blistering Hill Country Sun for years before I rescued her. the interior seats and destroyed by the sun. Any ideas where I can get replacement pre cut spec covers?

Great question as far as I know you have to have the interior seating custom made unless you replace the seats themselves.

My interior was sun-baked over the course of 18 years in the St. Augustine FL sun, before I bought her. I am currently getting quotes from marine upholstery people.... http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...98729402fa.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...8963d10b82.jpg

Wow, you were not joking about sun baked. Please keep us posted on the process.

I will.... I am seriously considering cutting my own plywood and PVC, building the foundations for the new seats, and let the upholstery guy foam it and cover it....
The guy that I think that I am going to go with used to be the main upholstery person at Velocity Boat.... Now he's on his own trying to do his own upholstery shop. 1998 202 Shabah 5.0L Alpha 1 |

Those are the guys you want to find, eager to get good word of mouth, there is a guy on here, not too long ago, who re did his interior. Maybe look him up on the mariah's owners club website he posted lots of pictures, ask him if he got ahold of the original cut and stitch patterns, there had to be some at one point... Maybe pm mariah man, mikey t they have a lot of knowledge when it comes to the original data about these boats!

Hunter.... I think that any patterns for interiors, covers, ect... disappeared when Mariah's original factory shut its doors. I can't even get OEM covers from RNR because they don't have the patterns from Mariah. So, I am off to see an upholsterer tomorrow (today) and see how close that I can get to the OEM interior. I was already told that they can't do the embroidered Mariah on the headrests due to legalities.... I said BS, who the heck is left to prosecute you??
