    Hmm... yeah me too.

If I could get a decent (hahahaha) used trailer to fit my Diablo for the price I really wanted to pay (sub $1000) I would really like to get a trailer for my boat.

Even if I'm not trailering it to go somewhere, but just to have it sit on a bunk trailer vs blocks in the winter. I might even be able to store it on my uncles farm in a barn vs paying the bucks to store it where it is now.

Then again, i'm probably better off to buy a newer boat w/ trailer...lol.

Btw - what year Shabah do you own and where abouts in Ontario are you??

OH .. and I do know Cradle Ride in Markham has a new one for $2400 for my boat.

EDIT: Found this in a search on Autotrader.ca

Based out of Brampton. Might have to drop them an email.

    Default Barrie

Boating out of Barrie, On the Trent and in Muskoka.. I don't want to pay dockage on a boat that will fit in my garage and tow easily.. The boat is a 2000.. I know there is a trailer manufacturer in Peterborough as well, but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it.. (And my Lund is sitting on one). I am sure it will come to me.. I have few friends in the boat bus. I am going to see if they can hook me up with a good used trailer in the spring... I did find some on the Gordon Bay Marina site but they are a little too small for this boat..

Hi '22empire', are you located in Barrie? I live in Barrie, docked out of the City Marina for the past two seasons. Trailer the boat up to Haliburton and Wiarton. Once on lake Muskoka while at TABOO. Drop me a line if you wish, maybe we could get out on Kempenfelt Bay together in June.

How have you found the marina downtown? Is it really expensive to keep the boat there? I was talking to a friend of mine and he is paying $2000 a season. It seemed pretty high to me. I just came down from Muskoka this afternoon and I saw some trailers at the boat consignment sale place. They where Excaliburs. So I will probably stop in there on my next trip north.. My wife and I have spent a lot of time on Kempenfelt in our Lund. But it just isn't big enough for Simcoe.. I am sure we will see you out there..

    Default Barrie Marina Fees

I've docked at the Barrie Marina for two years now and we've paid $925 - 975, May 15 - Oct 15. Our slip covers a 20' boat, hydro and water at the dock and our experience has been good. We enjoy the quick turnaround from arriving home - pack supper - and on the water within 30 minutes. We enjoy the peace and quiet (without our two teenagers) out on the water just before sunset.

Default Re: Looking for a trailer

Well, I got a trailer for the boat.. And just picked it up yesterday. I got a Shoreland'r off year brand new for $1300.00. So here is the big question, can anybody tell me what the centre to centre distance for the bunks should be for my boat? I want to get it as close as possible before I am at the ramp plucking the boat out.. As I was looking it turns out that their are a lot of people out there buying boats with trailers, but leaving the trailers behind. I talked to 3 large marina's around Ontario, and they all had off year trailers..
