Revisting
 

It's been a while since I have been on this site. Back Again. I have a '95, 18'6" Barchetta, which unfortunately has not been in the water for two years due to time and repairs. Last summer I retired and now finally have more time for fun things. Last summer I Replaced the bellows and got it running. The only issue now is the reverse kill switch. When I go from neutral to reverse, the engine stalls. I have been reading up on this issue from a post ColoradoDiablo made a while back and hope to straighten out the problem. Looking forward to doing some boating this summer (although this winter, the ice will not be gone till July).

Stalling going into reverse is a common problem on Alpha One drives. It typically requires that you change the shift cable which unfortunately means that you will have to remove the outdrive again.
