Bimini for a Z272
 

I have a friend who has a 94 Z272. He would like to get a bimini top for it. It needs to be able to lay flat on the sundeck when not in use so his cover will fit.

Has anyone one installed an aftermarket top on this boat? What length, width, and height should I look for?

The boat isn't nearby, so I can't take any measurements.

I have two choices, 36 inch height and 6 foot or 42 inches and 8 foot canopy. It will be attached to the gunwales, not the windshield. Width will be 85 to 90 inches, but can be custom made wider or narrower.

Any Z272 owners that get me some mesurements from their boat?
