2001 Mariah
 
Looking at a 2001 180 with volvo penta only 105 hours on it. Anything I should look for?

Yea seen that my last mariah was a 1997 with a 4.3 not sure on Volvo's. Pretty sure it is a 3l as well

I think you will be just as happy with the Volvo as you would with the Mercruiser. Both are reasonably reliable and well built units.

Went and seen it 2001 shaba with 3 litre volvo and 106 hours pretty clean guy is stuck at 10 grand think that is alittle high

Don't get the 3.0L
You'll be found wanting the 4.3L. Happens all the time.

VP V's Merc?
The motor's are basically the same.
The big difference between the VP and the Merc, is the outdrive.
In my opinion the SX drive if a far me refined package than the Alpha I leg.
Nothing wrong with the Alpha I Gen 1 or 2. (if you can live with the crash gears) :rolleyes:
