Interior project

I have a 96 Mariah Talari with both handles in the back by the bench seat that are loose, but could not reach the nut on the backside. Was also thinking about putting some additional speakers in the back. I was wondering if anybody knows how to get the inner fiberglass removed or at least loosened to get behind it and work.

I have a 96 z240 talari and if it's similar to mine, it is quite a chore to pull the panels loose. The upholstered top rail will have to be removed. There should be a screw at the front and back ends under a trim button, take those two out and the rail should lift right up. The floor trim will have to come off also, and the screws are drilled they the carpet and are tricky to find. You may be able to just loosen them enough to pull the panel out some to reach the nuts in the handles.
