Has anyone found a need on a Mercury Alpha outdrive shower and if so what are you running?

    keeping the drive cool is never a bad thing. Unless youve got a drive lube temp guage how do you really know how hot it is.

    when I bought mine, there was a white film on the outside near the top of the drive. After installing the shower, it went a way in a about 3 weeks of use.
