Default Where do these plugs go?

Hi all,

I recently purchased a 94 Shabah Z212 with a Merc. 350 Magnum engine. It was winterized and had a plastic baggie tied to the steering wheel with the plugs and such. I've reconnected the water pump hoses and installed the 2 nylon plugs in the headers. But I'm left with 2 brass plugs (besides the hull plug) each of different size.

Any ideas on where they go?

I'd appreciate any pointers before I start contortions trying to find out.

Thanks,

    Hi gcyoakum,

The brass plugs, if they're about 1/4 to 1/2 inch in diameter are probably for the engine block. Although the drain plugs are normally the same size and thread pitch.

One on each side of the block towards the bottom just above where the oil pan joins and about half way between the front and back.

There's a picture of the block and the drain plug on the forth page of the Service Manual - GM 5.0L & 5.7L Engines. It's REF #3

    Hope this helped,
    WetWilly
