when you say you changed the two power wires, are you talking about the always hot 12v wire, as well as the 12v on ignition only?

are you running the always hot wire directly to the battery? that was the solution to mine...i didnt replace it, i just sealed it off and tucked it under and ran a separate wire to the battery.

The ignition hot only wire i left stock...that only tells my radio when i got the key on and does not power it for audio.

    Yes I changed key hot and constant. After lunch I'll run a temporary constant hot straight to battery and see if that works.

    Thats what i did to try it out initially and it worked...so i ran it behind the panels neatly...

    ran also separate lines directly for the ignition hot and ground to the battery with no success..so i left those stock

    anytime...glad u fixed it...i added a 10A fuse just in case, even though the radio i believe has a built in one...
